October blitz results

The October blitz was a tight contest, not decided until the final round – although we did have an outright winner for a change,  The winner was Brendan Buckley with 6/7: after losing his first round game, he then swept all before him.  Second equal were Conall Hegarty and Pete Morriss, on 5 points.  The grading prize was shared by newcomer Georgios Tsakouridis (who beat Brendan) and Aogan O’Hiarlaithe, on 4.  Once again there were a good number of new faces, though the “new” people from September were not there: hope to see all of you for the November running of this – and at all the events in between.
